ALL Aerials Adds 60 JLG Boom Lifts to Fleet | Construction News

ALL Aerials, a stand-alone division of the ALL Family of Companies, has bought 60 new JLG aerial lifts for its fleet.

The purchase includes a mix of telescopic boom lifts and articulating boom lifts to meet increasing customer needs. Of note, 40 of the 60 units are in the 60- to 86-ft. height range, the “sweet spot” that is heavily in demand in mills, processing, general industrial, and vertical construction markets.

All of the machines are equipped with the JLG SkyPower system that delivers AC electricity to the work platform through an integral cable. The option is ideal for using power tools and for jobs like welding and cutting steel. All of the lifts also are equipped with foam-filled tires to eliminating flats.

The 60 units include 49 JLG telescopic boom lifts and 11 JLG articulating boom lifts, specifically: six model 400S telescopic boom lifts, four model 460SJ telescopic boom lifts, 14 model 600S telescopic boom lifts, six model 660SJ telescopic boom lifts, five model 800S telescopic boom lifts,  four model 860SJ telescopic boom lifts, four model 1200SJP telescopic boom lifts, six model 1350SJP telescopic boom lifts, six model 600AJ articulating boom lifts, and five model 800AJ articulating boom lifts.

For comparison, the SJ and AJ models are a bit longer than the comparable S or A models, and come equipped with an optional jib attachment (6 or 8 ft., depending on the model) with vertical rotation of approximately 130°, allowing additional flexibility and the ability to move up and over edges of structures.

Topping off the group, the 1200SJP and 1350SJP telescopic boom models feature platform heights of more than 120 ft., horizontal outreach of 75 to 80 ft., and 1,000-lb. capacity in the restricted working envelope, or 500 lbs. in the unrestricted working envelope.

“Adding this number and variety of lifts to the fleet will enhance ALL’s availability to work in high-demand and surging markets. Our customers in refineries, mills, and construction have a great need for the flexibility and durability JLG lifts can provide,” says Michael Liptak, president of the ALL Family of Companies.

Many of these units have already been received, with the balance due by mid-November. They will be headed for 13 ALL branches, including Nitro, W.V., the Chicago area, Indiana, and throughout the Midwest.

Many of these machines have already been rented, so they will be inspected, inventoried, and headed immediately to work.

ALL Aerials not only sells and rents new and used lifts, it also provides maintenance, parts, and service for all of the aerial equipment it rents and sells.
