Signal Worker Dies After Truck Hits Aerial Lift

Fall River, Mass.—A police department signal worker died after the aerial lift on his work truck was struck by a tractor-trailer truck while he was elevated and working on a traffic light. The impact of the truck’s trailer hitting the aerial lift’s bucket tossed the worker out. He fell about 20 feet onto pavement and died six hours later in a hospital.
