Catalyst Communications Network (Catalyst), has bought Heartland Communications Group Inc. (Heartland), a publisher of buyer’s directories and special-interest magazines headquartered in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Heartland has a strong focus on providing high-quality, value-driven marketing solutions in the agriculture, construction and industrial markets.

Its construction-related publications include Crane Hot Line, Lift and Access, their supplements, Telecom and Utility Construction and Components & Consumables; as well as Contractors Hot Line, Parts Connection, Attachment Connection, Construction Equipment Guide, and Crane Guide.

Catalyst is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and is an emerging communication and media company that provides U.S. companies with transformational tools and resources to identify, develop, and commercialize innovations in the agriculture, construction, and industrial markets.
