Equipment Parts Wholesale, Fresno, Calif., debuted its Power Station and aftermarket controllers at The Rental Show.

The Power Station allows multiple machines, such as electric scissor lifts, to be charged and powered from one location. The charger was originally designed for rental yards to bring in service power, but since its development, it has evolved into a portable solution with the addition of casters and the ability to be powered by a portable generator (up to 300 amps). This makes the device available to general contractors as well who need a portable power charging station on their job sites. The station is available in 5- or 10-ft. lengths. The 10-ft. version can charge 20 machines from the duplex outlets, but it can be expanded to accommodate more machines. The 5-ft. Power Station can charge 16 or more machines. It also can be offered with single- or three-phase power. Standard features include a 16-Series heavy-duty cam lock inputs, 14-gauge steel construction channel, LED indicators, 1/8-in. tube steel legs, a removable lid for easy maintenance, weatherproof design, powder-coat finish, and forklift channels for easy lifting.

Aerial lift controllers and control boxes are now being offered by EPW. Assembled in Fresno, the company's on-site engineering team designs aftermarket controllers to exact OEM specifications. On new designs, the controls are tested for 100 hours continuously, and each controller built by EPW goes through quality control testing. If tech support is required, an engineer involved in building the control handles the call. Each controller has a one-year warranty. The company offers more than 135 controllers for aerial work platforms.
