Industry Organizations Support Powered Access-Focused SAF-T Conference

As the date for the SAF-T Conference nears, industry manufacturers and organizations are lining up in support of the Safe Access, Fall Protection & Training (SAF-T) Conference, hosted by Maximum Capacity Media. The live conference, focused on powered access equipment safety, will take place in conjunction with the Scaffold & Access Industry Association’s Annual Convention on July 24, 2013, at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel in Nashville, Tenn.

Jim Dorris, CSP, Vice President - Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability for United Rentals Inc., will provide the opening keynote presentation, discussing leading safety initiatives through innovation and technology. Additionally, Kurt Southerland, CSP Manager, Industrial Safety, Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability (HSES) for United Rentals, will moderate a discussion on the access platform industry's recent shift to complementary online training, and Jeff Stachowiak, national safety training director for Sunbelt Rentals, will moderate a group of contractors who are sharing their perspectives on working at height.
