Teupen Adds Gas Engine Option to LEO 13GT Compact Lift

During fourth quarter 2012, Teupen began producing its LEO 13GT gas compact track lift, which offers an integrated 7-hp Subaru gasoline engine as a prime power option.

With a 36-foot platform height and the ability to travel through a single doorway, the Leo 13GT was originally introduced in 2010 with great market acceptance.  The original design primarily focused on interior applications where the use of a combustion engine is not a viable option. Thus, the current Leo 13GT’s prime power is an electric motor powered by an 115V/20-amp electric service. A portable generator, as an option, can be offered in order to operate the machine independently when outdoors.

The Leo 13GT gas now offers an integrated engine coupled with the onboard electric motor to more freely permit the use of the machine in a wide range of applications both indoors and out.

Teupen will now offer the power choices of the integrated gas engine coupled with the onboard electric motor  or the 115V/20A electric-only motor with a removable generator (as an option) for those applications where the Leo 13GT will be used exclusively indoors.
