Companies that want to enter their innovative new products in the 2017 Leadership in Lifting Equipment and Aerial Platforms (LLEAP) competition have until June 15, 2017, to complete the online entry form.

Organized by Lift and Access magazine, the LLEAP awards recognize new or updated products whose innovation advances the state of the industry and delivers benefits to users.

AEM Wins Innovation Honors for ‘Tech Experience’ at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has won innovation honors for its new Tech Experience at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017.

AEM was among a select group winning the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) ‘Power of A’ Gold Award. The award annually recognizes organizations that distinguish themselves with innovative, effective and broad-reaching programs and activities that positively impact America and the world.

Scott Powerline GTC-600 is First in Field

Scott Powerline and Utility Equipment has been the first to introduce several new Tadano Mantis models over the years. And the latest telescopic boom crawler crane for Scott Powerline is the GTC-600, which is the first of this model to be received by a dealer, placed in a rental fleet and now put on a job site. The 66-ton machine is currently working on a 20-mile powerline transmission construction project in Texas for Can-Fer Utility Services LLC, a Quanta Services company.

Tadano Mantis GTC-800 Rented to Set Steel

A new Tadano Mantis GTC-800 has been delivered to American Crane & Rigging LLC and bare leased to American Iron Inc. in the state of New York by Empire Crane Company.

The 88-ton telescopic-boom crawler crane will be erecting steel for the new Sullivan County Jail.
