New Solid, Non-Directional Tire Serves Rough-Terrain Forklifts and Telehandlers

Trident International has rolled out a new, solid, non-directional tire for rough-terrain forklifts and telehandlers.

Traxter solid tires are designed to provide traction on the rough, and sometimes sloppy terrain where those machines often work.

Traxter tires cannot go flat and have high resistance to damage. Trident says the tires’ extra-deep tread gives them three to five times the service life of foam-filled tires, and that their specially designed sidewall apertures absorb shock while minimizing flex for a smooth, stable ride.

The tires come as complete tire-and-wheel assemblies that are ready to mount, enabling quick, easy replacement that reduces downtime, total cost of ownership, and cost per hour.

Tread choice now includes the new non-directional pattern, which has a continuous center lug with a large contact area and a high lug-to-void ratio that reduces wear and vibration. Other patterns are available, including the standard R4 lug.
