Two Workers Killed in Ohio Crane Collapse | Construction News

Perry Township, Ohio, May 2013—Two construction workers died instantly when the boom of a crane collapsed onto them during construction at a manufacturing plant. The two were outside the plant lifting a load with a crane when other construction workers heard something snap and the crane’s boom fell onto the two men. The crane operator was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Construction operations at the site have been stopped until further notice, and OSHA has been notified. – www.cantonrep.com
