AEM Elects Directors to Construction Board

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has elected Rick Johnson, CEO of Charles Machine Works, and Bryan Rich, chairman and CEO of SmartEquip, to the AEM CE (construction equipment) Sector Board. 

The pair fills unexpired terms.

AEM officers and directors provide strategic direction and guidance on behalf of all member companies for Association action in areas that include public policy; market data;exhibitions; technical, safety, and regulatory issues; and education/training.

“We welcome our new directors and greatly appreciate their dedication to the off-road equipment industry,” said AEM President Dennis Slater. “AEM’s success in helping its membership and the industry succeed in changing business conditions would not be possible without active member participation, and we welcome their knowledge and leadership.”

Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wis., AEM is the international trade group representing off-road equipment manufacturers and suppliers. Its members include more than 950 companies and more than 200 product lines in the construction and agriculture sectors worldwide.
