Andreas Klauser Confirmed to Continue as CEO of Palfinger

At its meeting on June 13, 2022, the Supervisory Board of Palfinger AG unanimously reappointed Andreas Klauser ahead of schedule as CEO.

"I am pleased that in the coming years Palfinger will continue to follow the future driven course of renewal successfully set by Andreas Klauser," said Hubert Palfinger, chairman of the supervisory board.

Successful Global Structure

In the four years that Andreas Klauser has headed the world's leading provider of innovative crane and lifting solutions, the company has set records in revenues and earnings in both 2019 and 2021. The consistent implementation of the new Palfinger Global Organization (GPO) structure proved to be decisive for the company's success.

During the pandemic year of 2020, purpose-specific actions were immediately taken to secure liquidity, employee health and production reliability. The flexible structures also prove essential in dealing with the stressed supply chain and supply disruptions.

Klauser started his career in 1990 at Steyr Landmaschinentechnik and was responsible for the reorganization of sales in Eastern Europe after the takeover by Case Corporation. Following the merger of Case with New Holland to form CNH in 2000, he became Business Director Central Europe, Brand President and member of the board of CNH Industrial in 2009, and also Chief Operation Officer of the EMEA region in 2013.

Vision & Strategy 2030

With his appointment as CEO of Palfinger AG in 2018, Andreas Klauser not only implemented a uniform global structure (GPO) but also took proactive steps to position Palfinger for the future and the challenges of digitalization, sustainability, and social change in close cooperation with the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board.

"For this reason, we defined our Vision & Strategy 2030 in 2021, which we are now rapidly implementing," Klauser explained.

Partners and customers are the main focus for Palfinger. They are provided with solutions and services that help them perform with economic, ecological, and social success in an environment that is rapidly changing.

Increased Revenue Targeted at 3 Billion

In line with the vision of "Lifting value, creating momentum," the Strategy 2030 is based on the company's two pillars, "Go for Solutions" and "Go Digital." They initiate a profound change and comprehensive digitalization of all divisions to lay the foundation for continuing Palfinger's success as the world's leading provider of innovative crane and lifting solutions.

"As a result, we at Palfinger have set ourselves clear corporate and financial targets: In 2030, we are aiming for a revenue of three billion euros. As CEO, I am proud to make a key contribution to further sustainable growth and to ensure the successful implementation of our strategy," Klauser said.
