ARMI Launches New Data-Driven Maintenance Training

Lift and aerial platform operators now have a new option for training that focuses on maintenance performance. The American Reliability & Maintenance Institute (ARMI) has announced its Certified Maintenance Data Analyst (CMDA) course, which begins June 24 in Oklahoma City.

The four-day program is designed to help maintenance professionals — from technicians to planners — use their maintenance data to make better decisions, lower costs and prevent unnecessary downtime on equipment such as MEWPs and telehandlers.

“Most teams collect mountains of maintenance data but don’t know how to actually use it,” said Justin Smith, ARMI co-founder. “The CMDA program shows you how to connect the dots and uncover what’s working, what’s wasting time and how to fix it.”

The training covers key performance indicators (KPIs), failure trend analysis, root cause identification and reporting strategies. Participants can also earn a CMDA certification to validate their skills.

“This course and certification were designed with real teams in mind,” said Dr. John Ross, ARMI co-founder. “We make complex topics approachable and practical.”
