Bobcat Company introduced the next evolution of its compact loader lineup at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, unveiling a redesigned portfolio organized into two machine categories: Classic and Pro.

The updated lineup includes both skid-steer loaders and compact track loaders and introduces new operator technologies designed to simplify operation and increase jobsite awareness.

According to Bobcat, the redesign comes as the construction industry faces workforce changes, with 41% of the U.S. construction workforce projected to retire by 2031.

“Nearly 70 years ago, Bobcat introduced the world’s first compact loader, defining an entirely new way to work on the jobsite,” said Mike Ballweber, president, Doosan Bobcat North America, Inc. “This evolution of Bobcat loaders builds on that legacy by pairing the power and durability our customers expect with intelligence and simplicity designed for a changing workforce.”

Classic and Pro Loader Categories

Bobcat reorganized its compact loader lineup into two categories intended to simplify machine selection.

Classic loaders focus on established Bobcat performance and familiar controls. These models are targeted toward applications such as landscaping, rental and general construction.

Classic models include:

Compact Track Loaders:
T450, T595, T650, T770

Skid-Steer Loaders:
S70, S450, S590, S650, S770

Classic machines offer selectable joystick controls or optional hand and foot controls, two-speed travel, automatic ride control, keyless ignition and a deluxe display with an optional integrated rear camera.

Pro loaders introduce new performance features and operator technologies.

Pro models include:

Compact Track Loaders:
T64-2, T66-2, T76-2, T86-2

Skid-Steer Loaders:
S64-2, S66-2, S76-2, S86-2

Among the Pro machines, the T86-2 and S86-2 deliver 115 horsepower and a 12-foot lift height.

Drive Modes and Operator Technology

Pro loaders feature four drive modes designed to adapt machine responsiveness to different applications:

  • Balanced
  • Agile
  • Dynamic
  • Charged

Bobcat says the modes adjust control responsiveness and acceleration depending on the type of work being performed.

The Pro machines also feature redesigned electrical systems, weight optimization for improved agility and an updated operator station that includes refreshed interiors, heated air-ride seats, additional storage and an 8-inch touchscreen display with infotainment and integrated rear camera.

“One of the major drivers of our loader evolution is accelerating the pace of innovation across our lineup,” said Brad Claus, Bobcat senior vice president of North America construction equipment. “With our shift from series to categories, we will release innovations more frequently at the model level, without waiting for an entirely new series to launch. And with new technologies in place, we can deliver meaningful updates to customers more often.”

AI and Jobsite Awareness Technology

Bobcat also introduced new technology options for Pro loaders, including Jobsite Companion, an AI-enabled system designed to simplify machine operation through voice commands, automated attachment settings and real-time jobsite insights.

The system can automate more than 50 machine functions and includes a dashboard designed to track job costs and machine operation.

The company also introduced new jobsite awareness technologies powered by camera- and radar-based systems.

Bobcat View camera options provide rear or wide-area visibility coverage around the machine, while Bobcat Sense Detection Systems offer additional monitoring options including rear object detection and avoidance and 360 people detection.

“These technologies provide added awareness on demanding jobsites, giving operators more information to maneuver confidently and stay focused on the job,” the company said.

“This launch isn’t just about new machines, it’s about how people work,” Claus added. “By giving operators more choice, more control and smarter technology, we’re building equipment that adapts alongside the workforce and the jobsites of tomorrow.”

The new loader models are expected to arrive at select North American dealerships beginning in summer 2026.
