Canadian Rental Company Wins Snorkel Mini Scissor Lift at Trade Show

EDMONTON, Alberta - A rental company from Edmonton, Alberta, won a Snorkel S3008P push-around mini scissor lift, given away by Ahern Canada at the Prairie Regional Trade Show located in the company’s hometown.

Ahern Canada displayed a range of Snorkel lifts at the annual show, which was organized by the Canadian Rental Association (CRA) on March 10 at the Edmonton Expo Center. Their booth included a Snorkel S3219E electric slab scissor lift, an A38E electric boom lift, and a UL25 push-around mast lift.

The Snorkel S3008P was also on display at the show. Designed for low-level construction and facilities maintenance applications, the Snorkel S3008P is an innovative push-around mini scissor lift, which provides a cost-effective way to safely work at low level heights indoors. Capable of withstanding the demands of construction sites and the rental industry, the Snorkel S3008P can lift 500 lbs. to a working height of 14 ft. 2 in.

Attendees were invited to participate in a drawing at the Ahern Canada booth to win the Snorkel S3008P. Entrants had to be present at the prize draw to win.

Brent Fillmore of Legacy Equipment in Edmonton was drawn as the winner of the lift. Legacy Equipment operates a large rental fleet, supporting the requirements of construction industry in northern Alberta, with equipment and small tools.

“I am thrilled to win the Snorkel S3008P mini scissor lift, and I think it will be a great addition to our fleet,” Fillmore said. “Our team has had a fantastic time at the Prairie Regional Trade Show, and this is really a wonderful surprise. Thank you, Ahern Canada!”

Rhett Nickerson, regional sales manager for Western Canada for Ahern Canada, said they decided to host the prize drawing to celebrate their participation in the hometown show.

“We wanted to do something to mark our first time at this show in our Ahern Canada branding, and we thought what could be more valuable to a rental company than a piece of equipment, that will keep on giving through the rental return,” Nickerson said. “The Snorkel S3008P is a strong product, which appeals to a wide range of potential rental customers, and we are sure it will be put to work in the Legacy Equipment fleet.”
