Haulotte’s New Colors Help Identify, Understand Machines

To strengthen graphic coherence throughout its range of people- and material-lifting equipment, Haulotte has modified the color of trim and marking on its equipment.

The change significantly enhances the customer experience by helping users understand the machine architecture and read essential information.

Haulotte new use of color gives a clear visual distinction between all the elements of a machine.

The main parts of the machine are immediately identifiable.
Haulotte’s emblematic yellow remains unchanged to provide visibility.
The scissor arms have changed from light gray to dark gray.

All safety elements are now painted red for easy identification at a glance.

Platform access elements are a dark color for better identification.
Wheel rims are now black.

“The implementation of a new color trim goes far beyond simply refreshing the aesthetics of our machine range. We aimed at developing a homogeneous and impactful visual identity with recurring markers, that are never ornamental but always at the service of functionality and legibility,” said Sebastian Dittus, Haulotte designer.

Machine marking has been redesigned for better visibility and reading. It is now monochrome (black or white characters, depending on the background) for a more modern and refined look. The working height is highlighted in the model designation, and new safety labels are also being rolled out to make it easier to read instructions.

The color trim and marking switch starts in early 2021 with the Compact DX scissor lifts range and will be progressively applied to all models.
