IPAF to Hold July 15 Webinar on Future of Safe Learning
The International Powered Access Federation will hold a free one-hour webinar about the future of safe learning on July 15, 2020. The webinar starts at noon, London time (7:00 a.m. U.S. Eastern, 6:00 a.m. Central, 5:00 a.m. Mountain, and 4:00 a.m. Pacific). IPAF host Paul Roddis and guest presenters will look at how COVID-19 has affected training and learning in the industry and beyond, how IPAF has responded to this, and how employers and operators can use different technologies to continue to learn safely. Guest presenters include Kate Pasterfield, a senior leader at Sponge, a multi-award-winning digital learning agency based in the UK and Darren Verschuren, international account director for Serious Labs, an award-winning technology company that develops virtual reality (VR) training solutions for the global heavy equipment industry. Verschuren will look at virtual reality simulators modernizing MEWP operator training. The free webinar will take place on Microsoft Teams Live, so attendees don't need an account to join and can use the Teams app if they have it installed or their browser.
