Every workplace should have a safety and health program that includes management leadership, worker participation, and a systematic approach to finding and fixing hazards.
Having a MEWP specific safe use plan provides the focus a company must have to ensure the safe and productive operation of MEWPs used to elevate workers to access temporary work at height.
A MEWP specific safe use plan must specify the requirements for application, inspection, training, maintenance, repair, and safe operation of mobile elevating work platforms.
Tony Groat, IPAF’s North America Regional Manager will help attendees plan and ensure their workers stay safe as defined by industry experts and standards. If you have an employee who operates a MEWP for any purpose, you will learn of the key topics required in a MEWP safe use plan and take away tools and guides to assist you in developing your own plan.
