Kubota Engine America has increased its standard engine warranty to three years or 3,000 hours, extending coverage for equipment powered by Kubota engines across construction, lift and access and other demanding applications.
The warranty, previously set at two years or 2,000 hours, now provides additional coverage for both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and end users. The company announced the change Feb. 12 from Lincolnshire, Illinois.
“Our engines are built to perform reliably over the long term, and this warranty extension reflects that confidence,” said Michael De Leonardis, director of service engineering at Kubota Engine America. “By offering more coverage, we are helping customers focus on productivity and uptime, knowing their engine is backed by Kubota for more time and more hours.”
Kubota’s warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship during normal use and service. The expanded three-year or 3,000-hour coverage is designed to support equipment operating in high-cycle and continuous-duty environments, including aerial lift and access equipment applications.
The company noted that equipment owners can access support through its network of more than 1,500 authorized dealers.
“For end users, extended warranty coverage means greater confidence in their equipment investment,” De Leonardis said. “Whether equipment is used seasonally or day after day, customers can count on Kubota engines to deliver dependable performance, supported by responsive service and support.”
Kubota Engine America said the extended warranty may also enhance the value proposition for OEMs incorporating Kubota engines into their equipment offerings.
The company will showcase its engine lineup and discuss the updated warranty at CONEXPO-CON/AGG, March 3–7 in Las Vegas, at booth S80441.
