Magni Delivers First 167’ Rotating Telehandler in U.S.

Magni America recently delivered the first RTH 6.51 rotating telehandler in the United States to Adams European Contracting, Brooklyn, New York.

The RTH 6.51 is the highest lifting rotating telehandler in the world, with a maximum lifting height of 167 ft. The 6.51 offers a maximum lifting capacity of 13,200 lbs. and maximum horizontal reach of 113 ft.

With the purchase of the RTH 6.51, Adams European Contracting now owns six Magni rotating telehandlers.

Adams European Contracting is currently using its RTH 6.51 for the maintenance and restoration of school P.S. 333 in Manhattan. Limited space on the jobsite made it almost impossible for Adams to bring in a crane, making the Magni’s tight footprint and extreme lifting height the best solution.

“We chose Magni because no competitor can get to these heights and lifting capacities,” said Angelo Curto, director of operations for Adams European Contracting. Curto added that the Magni is replacing several other pieces of equipment on the site. “Overall, it saves me a lot of money,” he said.

Established in 1994, Adam’s European Contracting Inc. is an award-winning general contractor specializing in exterior renovation work for public agencies of New York City.
