Manitou Adds Five New Large-Frame Loaders

Manitou has expanded its loader lineup with three new skid steers and two compact track loaders (CTLs), designed with higher operating capacities and hydraulic performance for demanding worksite applications.

The new models, ranging from 3,250 to 3,600 pounds of rated operating capacity, feature redesigned vertical lift arms, stronger breakout forces and advanced hydraulics. Optional counterweights push capacities to 3,800 pounds.

“The demand for larger skids steers and CTLs continues to grow — and it’s preferred to add that power and capacity in the footprint of a compact machine that’s still easy to transport and is familiar to operators versus adding a larger piece of construction equipment in many applications,” said Nathan Ryan, global product manager — skid steers and CTLs at Manitou.

The loaders deliver up to 114 horsepower, hydraulic horsepower of 82 with boost and auxiliary flow rates up to 40 gallons per minute at 3,450 PSI. These specs make the machines suitable for heavy-duty attachments such as mulchers, cold planers and brush cutters.

Standard features include ride control, LED lighting, a redesigned cab with adjustable controls and a 7-inch color display for machine settings and diagnostics. Manitou also integrated its IdealTrax track system and Connected Machine technology, allowing operators to track service intervals, location, and diagnostics remotely.

Ilmars Nartish, vice president — North America at Manitou, said the company sees the machines as part of its broader fleet vision.

“We now offer even more of an end-to-end solution for rental businesses, large fleets and national accounts, and other businesses that prefer working with a single supplier as much as possible — including financing, attachments, connected technologies and product support,” Nartish said.

Built by Manitou’s South Dakota team, the machines reflect both updated design and North American manufacturing, with a focus on fleet management and long-term serviceability.
