MEC Names New National Account and Regional Sales Managers

MEC Aerial Work Platforms named Ethan Waller its new national account manager and Joe Anthony a new regional sales manager, the company said.

Waller will be responsible for managing national accounts, developing strategic relationships and building partnerships for growth in the North American market, the Kermen, Calif.-based company said in a release.

“I am honored to join the MEC team and contribute to the company’s continued success,” Waller said. “MEC has an incredible reputation for delivering innovative solutions to the industry and I am excited to collaborate with our valued customers to help them achieve their goals.”

Anthony brings more than a decade of experience to his new role managing regional accounts, and will be tasked with growing the company’s Midwest business.

“We are excited to welcome Joe to the MEC family,” Paul Waller, MEC’s vice president of sales, said. “His track record and commitment to customer satisfaction makes him a valuable addition to the team. We are confident he will expand the MEC brand with market growth and strengthen partnership in this important region.”

MEC is one of the leading manufacturers of aerial work platforms and lifts used in the construction industry, with about $150 million in annual revenue. The 48-year old company is riding a rising tide in the industry, a recent report by Precedence Research is predicting a surge in the global aerial work platforms market from $12.22 billion last year to nearly $30 billion by 2033.
