New Manitou MLT 420 Telehandler was Designed for Ag, But is Also Good for Construction

Sept. 22, 2020 – Manitou Group, West Bend, Wisconsin, has introduced the new Manitou MLT 420 AG telescopic loader to its extensive MLT product lineup for North America.

Although the MLT 420 was designed for agriculture, Manitou says the model is also excellent for any application where dust is an issue, thanks to its fully enclosed cab and an auto-reversing fan that helps keep the radiator freer of dust during operation.

The MLT 420 is the most compact Manitou telescopic loader in the product line. It can navigate in confined spaces and combines all the advantages of a loader, telehandler, and industrial forklift.

Super compact at just 58" wide and 79" high, it works easily in confined spaces yet can lift up to  4,400 lbs. and has a maximum lifting height of 14’4”.

Its full-sized operator’s cab is comfortable and offers full 360° visibility. The machine is easy to operate, and its two-speed hydrostatic transmission with directional and gear change on the JSM (Joystick, Switch and Move) adds flexibility and precision. The JSM joystick lets the operator control all hydraulic functions with one hand. That lets his or her other hand always stay on the steering wheel for added safety.

The standard auto-reversing fan helps keep the radiator clean in dusty environments. A wide selection of attachments is available for maximum versatility and Manitou’s Easy Connect systems makes changing hydraulic attachments quick and easy.

The model is fully supported and available at Manitou dealerships across the United States and Canada.
