Olive-Harvey Announces High-Tech Forklift-Simulator Training

City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) to announce they have met the industry need by offering Forklift-Simulator training at Olive-Harvey College. Employers and prospective students will be invited to join an online, short 15-minute presentation demonstrating the capabilities of the simulator on June 2, 2021. 

The use of simulators as a training tool is well known because its virtual reality adds an extra dimension to forklift simulator training, immersing the user in a realistic and challenging environment while protecting the user while learning.

“There is a huge demand for this type of education,” said Kimberly Hollingsworth, president of Olive-Harvey College. “Both employers and employees will be able to take advantage of the forklift-simulation training. It will help employees upskill with the potential of earning more, and/or getting promoted. For the employer, it’s a win-win because it protects the company from liabilities while also supporting their employees to reach their goals in safe environment.”

Forklift-simulator training (view simulator video) is the easiest, safest and most effective way to train and protect forklift operators.
