Palfinger Unveils Digital Instruction App for Rental at Bauma 2019

April 4, 2019 - Palfinger is revealing a new digital instruction tool to aid access platform rental customers at Bauma 2019.

Called “Instructable,” the app aims to make the rental of access platforms far simpler by shortening instructional processes, allowing easier access to important data, and designing more reliable documentation.

“Palfinger is on the right track with its new innovation unit in the company, in that we are thinking systematically and in tandem in terms of digitalization and service, and can afford to develop completely new approaches to lifting solutions,” said Andreas Klauser, CEO of Palfinger AG.

Through standardized instructions, optimized checklists, and access to important data, instructors and operators alike will benefit from complete device training and reliable documentation.

Instructable pools all of the important information regarding rental equipment into one space, simplifying the complete administration, delivery, and return processes. In the event of damage, the instructable app enables a straightforward procedure for damage assessment since details about both parties are always visible. Furthermore, the expanded selection of languages ensures that data can be provided in a number of languages, so there is no barrier to communication between instructor and operator.

Instructable is intended to bring important information about access platforms to where it’s needed in the rental process. Users can call up the booking status, equipment history, and information regarding any damage at the touch of a button and in real-time on any mobile device. It’s also useful to the customer, who can get to know current rental equipment and its specific requirements quickly and easily.
