Trico Lift has added more than 20 service technicians in order to expand the company’s ability to provide a complete line of repair, maintenance, and inspection services to customers who own aerial work platforms.
For more than 30 years, Trico Lift has been providing the rentals, sales, servicing, parts and training for lift equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts and rough terrain forklifts. “Now we have the added manpower, facilities, and tooling to handle the demand for repair and service work for customers who own this type of equipment,” said Chris Carmolingo, chief operating officer for Trico Lift.
The additional technicians compliment Trico Lift’s New Jersey-based Fleet Maintenance Center, measuring 28,000 sq. ft. The Fleet Maintenance Center serves multiple functions, including fleet repairs, major customer repairs, paint services, and complete equipment rebuilds.
For repairs that need to be handled in the field, there are 25 Trico Lift road service technicians the company can dispatch to jobsites, plants, or other locations for emergency repairs or routine maintenance. In addition to lift repairs, the company offers inspection service contracts so equipment owners receive inspections in accordance with the OSHA and ANSI endorsements of routine inspections.
“The demand for this work has always existed and Trico Lift has stepped up and put the resources in place to follow through and thoroughly meet this very important customer need,” Carmolingo said. In recent months, he added, the company underwent staffing upgrades, facility modifications, and added service resources including repair tools and vehicles to offer expanded aerial lift services and products in its service area spanning the Mid-Atlantic Region from New York to Northern Virginia and the Gulf Coast Region as well.
