Ritchie Bros. to Hold First Northeast Regional Auction June 23

On June 23-24, 2020, Ritchie Bros. will hold an online auction to sell more than 5,900 pieces of equipment from the northeastern U.S.

The auction will combine equipment from 800 owners in North East, Maryland; North Franklin, Connecticut; Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and Pittsburgh.

The nearly 6,000 pieces of equipment on the online block will include more than 130 mobile elevating work platforms (boom and scissor lifts), more than 440 truck tractors, and more than 95 flatbed trucks. Other equipment will include excavators, dump trucks, compactors, loaders, skid steers, and more.

"We would expect to see a lot of buyer crossover if we held these as individual events, so it just makes sense to combine them for the convenience of our buyers and benefit of our sellers," said Dave Kreis, sales director, Ritchie Bros. "This will be one of our biggest events ever in this part of the country. We already have a ton of late-model, well-maintained equipment and trucks, with more being added every day. We encourage interested bidders to get online, get registered, and be ready to bid come auction day!"

Ritchie Bros. will host a special Marketplace-E event leading up to the June 23-24 auction.

More than 100 items are currently listed to be sold in the June 17 – 26 Markeplace-E event from consignors from the northeast region and across the United States, with 'Make Offer' and 'Buy Now' bidding options available. For more information, visit ironplanet.com/mpe-northeast.
