Serious Labs Adds Skyjack President to Board

Virtual reality training solutions provider Serious Labs announced that Skyjack President Brad Boehler has joined its board of directors.

Boehler will advise on business and strategy topics, and provide counsel regarding the compliance of VR simulators with a variety of standards. His appointment expands the board to seven members.

Since joining Skyjack in 2003, Boehler has progressively held strategic positions, including the previous titles of vice president of engineering and vice president of sales and marketing. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario and began his career as a military engineer with the Canadian Armed Forces.

"We are delighted to welcome Brad to our board of directors,” said Jim Colvin, CEO, Serious Labs. “Brad’s strong safety background and his deep knowledge of the industry are unparalleled. His diverse insights will be a valuable addition to the board as we grow and improve the future of operator training around the world.”

Boehler is currently on a number of boards, serving as the deputy president of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and chairs the ANSI A92.6 subcommittee, which is responsible for the U.S. standards on self-propelled elevating work platforms. In 2017, he was elected to the AEM Construction Equipment Sector Board.

“I am pleased to have been elected to the Serious Labs board of directors, and I look forward to helping them reconstruct reality to the benefit of workers across the globe,” Boehler said.
