Skyjack Unveiled Three New Machines at The Rental Show

Skyjack unveiled three new products this week at The Rental Show, including the SJIII 4740 DC electric scissor lift, the SJ30 ARJE articulating boom with rotating jib, and the SJ1056 TH telehandler at The Rental Show.

With a near 40-ft. platform height, the SJIII 4740 is the tallest DC electric scissor Skyjack has ever produced and boasts a maximum weight capacity of 500 lbs. “This new release demonstrates to our customer base, and to our competitors, that Skyjack is a brand that will continue to expand,” said Malcolm Early, vice president of marketing at Skyjack. "Entering into a new scissor class will help fulfill our objective of becoming a full-line product supplier of all types of aerial work platforms.”

Skyjack also launched an articulating boom–the SJ30 ARJE–which features a 29.6-ft. working height and maximum weight capacity of 500 lbs. The SJ30 ARJE is competitive with other 30-ft. electric articulating boom lifts while also offering a common parts advantage, including Skyjack's trademark numbered-and color-coded wiring system.

With the SJ1056 TH telescopic handler, Skyjack now has a newly redesigned 10,000-lb. capacity machine that can take its full capacity load to 44 ft. The SJ1056 TH telehandler features a maximum lift height of 56'3", maximum forward reach of 42'6", and a ground clearance of 19 in. It comes with 74-hp Deutz engine as standard and 107-hp Deutz as an option.
