Snorkel Distributor Moves to Larger Building

The CSL Group of Companies, which distributes Snorkel aerial lifts in Canada, is expanding into new premises. The group, based in Edmonton, Alberta, is moving into a larger building that will house its three main businesses all under the same roof. CanSource Lifts is a supplies aerial work platforms; the group also includes CSL Transportation and CSL Safety Training.

The new CSL facility is just off the Yellowhead Highway, the 3,000km east-west road is the major link between the four western Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and it traverses the Canadian Rockies.

Snorkel boom lifts played a significant role in the early stages of the construction, particularly in the steel frame erection.

Jim Dakin, general manager of CSL Group, said: “This new location not only provides amazing Yellowhead exposure but it also gives enough room to grow for the future. We would like to thank all of our customers who have supported us throughout the past 15 year and now. The new location will almost double the amount of CSL Parts and Services mechanic bays to 7,500 square feet, offering our customers less wait time to get customer-owned equipment repairs. “

The move will also allow CSL Group to launch CSL Storage later this year; providing two acres of yard space to support the seasonal storage needs of contractors.
