Snorkel showcased 14 aerial lifts on the booth, including a rebuilt AB60J articulated boom lift, a production version of the new Snorkel 660SJ mid-size telescopic boom lift, and popular core models including the Snorkel S3370RT compact rough terrain scissor lift, and a selection of electric slab scissor lifts, as well as three brand new launches.
One of those new models is the Snorkel S3215L lightweight electric scissor lift.
The S3215L combines 15-ft. working height (9-ft. platform height) with heavy-duty durability and much lower floor loadings than a conventional scissor lift.
That has been achieved by using lighter-weight materials, such as aluminum, where possible without compromising the lift’s stability and durability. It weighs just 2,100 lbs. and has a floor loading of just 195 psf at its 670-lb. maximum platform capacity.
Snorkel also launched the TM16E a 16-ft. (platform height) electric-drive mast lift. It is a larger version of Snorkel’s 12-ft. TM12E, which was launched at The Rental Show in 2017.
The TM12E is an electric-drive version of the original TM12 self-propelled telescopic mast lift, that now incorporates a zero inside turning radius and a roll-out deck extension as standard.
The Snorkel TM16E takes the TM12 concept to new heights, reaching a maximum working height of 22 ft., with a platform capacity of 500 lbs., while retaining the same compact dimensions of the TM12 and weighing in at just 2,360 lbs.
Also at World of Concrete, Snorkel debuted a new compact telehandler for the U.S. market. The Snorkel SR5719 can lift up to 5,732 lbs., has a maximum lifting height of 19 ft., and a maximum forward reach of 10’4”. Ideal for contractors, it can be transported easily and delivers high levels of operator comfort. It This compact unit features a Tier 4 Final Yanmar engine, and weighs just 10,360 lbs.
All three of the new lifts are backed by Snorkel’s two-year parts-and-labor, and five-year structural warranty as standard, and will be on display at The Rental Show 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana from February 19-21, 2018.
