TVH Adds 250,000 Sq. Ft. to Warehouse

TVH in the Americas has added 250,000 sq. ft. to the warehouse at its headquarters in Olathe, Kansas.

The provider of quality replacement parts and accessories for material handling and industrial equipment says the added space lets it offer customers more products and keep more products in stock for fast delivery.

TVH says it completed the expansion in the most environmentally conscious way possible. One example is installation of solar panels on the roof. The panels will significantly reduce the company’s electrical costs and the impact TVH has on the environment.

TVH estimates that the panels will cut CO2 emissions by nearly 3.5 million lbs. in their first year of use. Over the next 25 years, they are expected to reduce CO2 emissions by more than 79 million pounds, reducing greenhouse gas emissions while improving quality of life and environmental standards.

Energy saving measures inside the expansion include new LED lights that use roughly 75% less energy that fluorescent bulbs and also last significantly longer. Water-saving fixtures cut down water waste. New energy saving HVAC controls and equipment allow more consistent temperatures while also being more efficient.

The expansion lets TVH grow its product offering while ensuring the addition benefits employees, customers, the community, and the environment.
