Work Truck Week 2026 will introduce expanded technology content through its opening event, the Green Truck Summit, which adds sessions on connected vehicles, data and artificial intelligence (AI). The changes stem from incorporating the Commercial Vehicle Data Exchange Special Session into the summit program.
The event runs from March 10 to 13, 2026, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Work Truck Week includes the Green Truck Summit, the Work Truck Show, the NTEA Annual Meeting, ride and drive events and education sessions. The Green Truck Summit is set for March 10, with exhibits open from March 11 to 13.
Since debuting in 2009 with a focus on hybrids and alternative fuels, the Green Truck Summit has broadened to cover technologies that influence sustainability and commercial vehicle performance.
“In an era of rapid transformation, organizations across the commercial vehicle industry are continually pushing boundaries: advancing new fuel types and reducing emissions, designing and engineering safer and more-productive vehicles, pioneering innovative technologies and hardware and leading the charge in cutting-edge software,” said Kevin Koester, NTEA managing director. “In this environment, solid data analysis becomes an important tool to effectively deploy advancing technology. Green Truck Summit helps industry professionals integrate proven solutions into their operations, explore emerging innovations and anticipate the challenges of tomorrow in an industry that never stands still.”
The 2026 agenda includes three one-hour general sessions and nine afternoon breakout sessions. Topics cover energy density, telematics-driven efficiency, AI in fleet operations, duty cycle considerations for low- and zero-emission technologies, connected vehicle applications and key economic indicators.
Summit attendees may also join any Work Truck Week breakout sessions held March 10 to 12. The conference package includes access to exhibits, ride and drive events and the opening reception, plus on-demand access to select session materials after the show.
The Green Truck Summit will be held at the JW Marriott Indianapolis, connected to the Indiana Convention Center. Full schedules and registration details are available at worktruckweek.com/greentrucksummit. Work Truck Week early bird registration closes February 13, 2026.
