GMG’s Ramp Control reduces concerns of an over-speed condition during a slab scissor lift's descent on a ramp. It automatically places the machine in low speed (Turtle Mode) if the machine is going downhill until the operator turns it off after returning to a flat surface. It controls the descent without affecting gradeability by understanding the position of the platform, the angle degree of the ramp; direction of the machine on the ramp; and position of the joystick.
