Acces Location d' Equipement has broken ground for its new $6-million headquarters in Beloeil, Quebec, near Montreal.

The Canadian equipment sales and rental company is currently headquartered in Ste.-Julie, in metropolitan Montreal.

Scheduled for completion in the spring of 2017, the new 31,000-sq.-ft. headquarters will be three times the size of Acces Location's current facility. It will also be equipped with the latest technology for each department.

Located at 1475 de l’Industrie in Beloeil bordering Highway 20, the new location will be more visible, in a high traffic area, and easier to get to.

"This inaugural groundbreaking ceremony marks the beginning of a new chapter in the history of Accès Location d’Équipement," said Harold Dubé, president of Accès Location. He added that the new location will let the company double its equipment fleet and create twenty new employment opportunities over the next five years.

The growth will allow the company to better meet the increasing needs of its customers and sustain its strong growth.

Among the guests at the groundbreaking was Mrs. Diane Lavoie, mayor of Beloeil.

Founded in 2003, Accès Location d’Équipement specializes in rentals, sales, and servicing of high-reach equipment, such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers.

The company currently has 42 employees.
