Bigge Takes Delivery of Goldhofer Specialized Trailers

As part of a multi-million dollar agreement with Goldhofer AG, Bigge Crane & Rigging, San Leandro, Calif., recently took delivery of the final shipment of over 200 lines of specialized trailers.  These new trailers bring Bigge’s lines to almost 500.

The agreement, consummated in late 2008 with delivery concluding earlier this year, features the latest in Goldhofer technology, including the electronic steer self-propelled models PST-SL/E, mechanical steer self-propelled PST/SL, and mechanical steer towable THP/SL.

Goldhofer makes the best platform trailer, leading the way in quality and innovation,” Weston Settlemier, Bigge president, said after commissioning the new trailer modules at the company’s Richmond, Va., facility. “With more than 250 lines of self-propelled PST and THP modules already in the Bigge fleet and performing flawlessly, it was the right decision to stay with Goldhofer for these additional lines.”
