Bigge Crane and Rigging Co., San Leandro, Calif., recently renovated its training facility to help educate customers on crane safety. The company holds a crane safety awareness course, as well as other crane and rigging training for its customers at the facility.
The facility, which is located at the company headquarters, seats up to 40 guests at a time and features a conference room with built-in lighting and top-of-the-line media production. The facility has unlimited parking and a full kitchen and bath. Classes and always accompanied by snacks and beverages for customer comfort.
The crane safety course covers jobsite requirements, load calculations, rigging of payload, crane preparations and pre-lift planning. At the end of the course, guests also receive a tour of the Bigge yard and facility.
