CH Products, an APEM company based in Vista, Calif., has introduced its HFX Single Axis Throttle, a heavy duty Hall effect joystick delivering precise proportional one axis control.
The throttle features “friction-clutch” centering, meaning the handle maintains the position set by the operator. The throttle is also available with up to three electrical micro switches as well as seven mechanical detents, which provide positive locations for the handle’s travel.
Ideally suited for safety critical applications such as scissor lifts, work platforms, cranes, agricultural, mining and forestry equipment, the throttle uses noncontact Hall effect technology and has been rated for more than 10 million operations.
