Construction Worker Electrocuted Next to Boom Truck

Bellevue, Wash., June 2012—A construction worker died after being critically shocked when a boom truck got too close to power lines. The worker was holding a chain and standing next to the truck when the accident happened. Investigators are not yet certain whether the truck's boom came into contact with overhead power lines. The critically injured worker was taken to a medical center, where he died two days after the accident.
