Graham, Wash.—A construction worker died when a scissor lift pinned him against a framing timber for several minutes. After being freed, he was flown to a medical center, where he was later pronounced dead. The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office said the man bled to death from a crushing injury to his chest and abdomen.
