The Crosby Group Releases New Vertical and Horizontal Clamps

The Crosby Group, Tulsa, Okla., has introduced two new clamps: the CrosbyIP IPCC vertical clamp and the CrosbyIP IPPE horizontal clamp.

Designed for the vertical lifting and transfer of concrete pipe sections and wells, the IPCC vertical clamp must be used in pairs or more and has a 1 metric ton working load limit per pair. The IPCC features a built-in grip handle and is typically used in combination with 9/32 (1/4) (7 mm) chain.

The CrosbyIP IPPE horizontal clamp, which features an adjustable jaw opening, is designed for lifting and transfer of bundles of non-sagging steel plates in a horizontal position. The IPPE must be used in pairs and is available in capacities of 3 to 12 metric tons.

Both clamps are RFID equipped and are individually proof tested to two times the working load limit with certification.
