Delta Rigging & Tools, Lake Jackson, Texas, a leading provider of wire rope, rigging and lifting equipment, recently announced the acquisition of D&M Wire Rope, Grand Junction, Colo. The acquisition is the seventh in the last three years by Delta Rigging.
D&M Wire Rope specializes in the fabrication and distribution of chain, wire rope, wire rope slings, synthetic slings, and rigging hardware. D&M is one of the largest tire chains distributors in the Rocky Mountain area. D&M also has testing and certification capabilities for various types of rigging and lifting products. D&M employs 35 full-time employees, and all are expected to remain with the company.
“D&M will allow Delta Rigging to expand its footprint from the Gulf Coast region into the Rocky Mountains and more efficiently serve the mining and land-based oil and gas markets,” said Kevin Rodgers, CEO of Delta Rigging. “We are very confident that Jim Davis, the founder of D&M Wire Rope, and his highly trained group of employees will make a significant contribution to our growth plans.”
