Dur-A-Lift, Inc., one of the nation’s fastest growing manufacturers of aerial lifts, is proud to announce the expansion of its tree-care aerial lift line with the acquisition of the MAT-3 Mat-Tree product line.
The MAT-3 aerial lift line, designed by respected industry engineer John Mlaker, is known for its Biglift and Mat-Tree units, which offer features that specifically benefit tree-care operators.
Mlaker is working with Dur-A-Lift to integrate the MAT-Tree into the Dur-A-Lift line. The Mat-Tree will be renamed model DAT3 under the Dur-A-Lift brand name.
Mlaker said, “I am excited to be working with Dur-A-Lift and to be able to see the Mat-Tree aerial device back in production. I know our customers and the tree care industry will be pleased to see the product back in production and available in the near future.”
Loren Top, product manager for Dur-A-Lift said, “Working with John to bring the highly regarded MAT-3 products to the tree care industry has been a great experience. In researching the market, the Mat-Tree lift that John designed receives excellent reviews from the field. Current owners of Mat-Tree lifts have expressed a great deal of support for the availability of new units in the future.”
Dur-A-Lift continues to expand its product line for the tree care market. The DAT3 joins other tree care specific products, like the DTAX-45 Urban Forestry Unit, which was introduced in 2015, and is the only Class 5 lift in the industry with a working height of 50 ft.
The DAT3 series of aerial lifts will be available for the 65- to 7-ft. working height range. Dur-A-Lift expects to begin shipping new DAT3 units starting in late 2016.
Dur-A-Lift, Inc. is a division of Diversified Technologies, Inc. Design and manufacturing for all divisions and product lines takes place on its 40-acre campus outside the Northwest Iowa town of George.
