Power management company Eaton, Galesburg, Mich., has named Dave Karnes as vice president of sales, North American Truck, reporting to Tim Sinden, president, North America Truck Operations.
Karnes most recently was director, Roadranger field sales and marketing, North America Truck. He will continue to be based in Galesburg.
”Dave’s diverse background and experience will serve the business well in his newly expanded role,” said Sinden. “As a key member of the North American Truck leadership team, Dave will be an integral part of our growth strategy going forward.”
Karnes joined Eaton in 1987 as a manufacturing accountant for the transmission division. Before moving to sales in 2008, he was division controller for the vehicle group’s clutch business. Prior to joining Eaton, Karnes was a divisional accounting manager for Dana Corp.
Karnes holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Michigan University and master’s degree in business administration from Michigan State University.
