Skyjack, explores approaches to achieving safe movement of equipment on construction sites. While the emphasis will be on the powered access equipment, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, and truck-mounted and trailer-mounted aerial lifts, a number of the areas discussed will be applicable to equipment in general.
In the presentation, Boehler will present an analysis of equipment accidents and their causes, as well as review risk assessment and common issues to avoid. The role of equipment training, fall protection, and secondary guarding systems will be reviewed.
