Eriez, Erie, Pa., which manufactures lifting magnets, has promoted Dan Zimmerman to the newly created position of director of business development, based at company headquarters. Zimmerman will report to Charlie Ingram, vice president of sales and marketing.
Ingram said: "Dan was instrumental in the successful acquisition of Maumee, Ohio-based Hydroflow Filtration Systems and SED Fluid Recycling Equipment. He will now take on the leadership in developing this business, including global sales and marketing initiatives as well as coordinating the integration of Hydroflow's engineering and production in systems and facilities."
Zimmerman will retain his responsibilities in managing Eriez service and repairs support as well as sales efforts in the metalworking markets, including field sales management of metalworking sales representatives.
Prior to his promotion, Zimmerman served as manager-sales/service support, as well as market manager-metalworking at Eriez headquarters. Zimmerman is a graduate of Gannon University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
