EUFMC Announces 2020 Dates

The 2020 Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference will be held May 31 – June 3 at the Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center in Williamsburg, Virginia.

“Essential Tools for Fleet Excellence” will be the focus of presentations by fleet executives, manufacturer representatives, and industry experts during the educational program being planned by the EUFMC board of directors.

“The value of the EUFMC educational program, equipment exhibits, and networking opportunities continues to make this conference the premier, must-attend event for utility fleet executives,” said Chuck Bunting, EUFMC president and fleet manager at NiSource. “Every year, fleet managers gather at EUFMC because it is a highly informative forum for addressing challenges and exchanging ideas.”

EUFMC highlights:

  • Roundtables where fleet executives will address common challenges by sharing best practices and working with suppliers to find solutions.
  • Utility equipment drive-through demonstrations with educational and technical presentations by suppliers.
  • Equipment show exhibits with more than 60 displays of vehicles, equipment, components, and a wide range of technologies and services.

Attendance at the 2019 EUFMC included 128 utility fleet representatives from nearly 70 investor-owned electric utilities, electric cooperatives, and electrical contractors, including about 30 first-time attendees. There were also more than 350 representatives from 100 manufacturers and service providers.

A full education report from the 2019 general session is available on the EUFMC website. For more information, visit www.eufmc.com.
