Fleet Cost & Care Adds Barcode Tracking Component to NexGen FMS

Fleet Cost & Care, Detroit, Mich., has released NexGen Atom, a Windows Mobile-based barcoding software program. NexGen Atom integrates unit, component, and accessory tracking via barcode scanning into its parent software, NexGen FMS, an operations oriented fleet management system.

NexGen Atom barcode scanning synced with operations oriented fleet management software eliminates loss of units and components on a jobsite or within multiple depots. Parts managers can receive and track inventory with ease and dispatchers can specify components and reconcile them back to an individual job.
