Forklift Falls Through Sidewalk

Springfield, Mass., July 2012—A forklift operator was moving large planters on a downtown sidewalk when the forklift broke through the walk and fell rear-first into a hollow area beneath. The operator was taken to a hospital. His injuries have not been disclosed. The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating.
