Forklift Operator Injured in Collision with Car | Construction News

A forklift driver was taken to a hospital with a minor head injury after he drove the lift into the passenger’s door of a car while unloading a truck at roadside worksite in Ottawa, Ontario. The impact of the forklift hitting the car caused the forklift operator to bump his head.

Neither the car’s driver nor his passenger was hurt, although one of the forks barely missed the passenger’s leg after puncturing the car door.

The truck that the forklift operator was unloading was parked illegally in the bus lane of a city street. Ottawa police and the Ontario Ministry of Labour are investigating. – www.cbc.ca
