Gehl Approves Arnco ecoflex Flatproofing for Telehandlers

West Bend, Wis.-based Gehl Company has approved South Gate, Calif.-based Arnco’s new patent-pending ecoflex tire flatproofing fill for use on all Gehl and Mustang telehandlers and skid-steer loaders.

ecoflex is an eco-friendly tire fill formulation from Arnco that consumes 50 percent less petrochemicals by using renewable and environmentally based components in the production process.

Steven Ownby, marketing manager for Arnco said Gehl has determined that the new ecoflex polyurethane flatproofing meets the company’s design and performance criteria after the material underwent an extensive and exhaustive testing period that proved it to be effective. Ownby said the ecoflex and ecofil materials are a breakthrough in technology and illustrate Arnco’s commitment to a greener planet.

“In addition to offering equipment operators substantial cost-saving advantages, both ecoflex and ecofil work with tube-type or tubeless tires, are designed to handle the most arduous applications, and are safer to use than standard flatproofing materials,” he said.
